What Students Have to Say

The teacher training was the best thing I have done for myself in a long time. I am so fortunate to have studied with Mokshapriya and Marianne. The knowledge that you share with your students is priceless. I learned so much about myself and yoga I wouldn't know where to begin. You have both taught me to slow down my life and my breath. I wouldn't change one thing about the course. The asana training was phenomenal. The emphasis on proper alignment has changed my practice. I found all the answers I was looking for in how to build strong solid poses. I really enjoyed the philosophy and studying Pantanjali. The whole meditation process has been an amazing journey. I can't believe I can actually stay still for twenty minutes now. In the beginning of the course I couldn't stay still for five minutes. I thank you for getting on my case about that!

Thanks again for all that you have done for me. You are a gift to the universe and you make the world a better place. The yoga teacher training course has given me confidence and strength I didn't know I had.
Love always, Angela 2007

Yin/yang, sun/moon, solar/lunar, East/West, Mokshapriya & Marianne. Totally complete and amazing balance with Miguel being the central meridian. This describes our teacher training program – complete, balanced and grounded.I found the course well planned and well organized – from each individual session to the complete course plan.

I absolutely agree with Marianne’s approach to the importance of the basic yoga poses to the eventual mastery of all yoga poses. From my personal experience, I know the practice of these poses led me to improve or accomplish many other poses. I know when I begin teaching, how thankful I will be for Marianne’s asana manual with direct, concise instructions. This will become an invaluable tool in our teaching. Marianne’s knowledge of asana along with her understanding of the mechanics of the human body makes her a truly exceptional teacher.

Study of the yoga sutras of Patanjali, with the wisdom and deep understanding shared by Mokshapriya, gave me the strength to continue and the compassion to be kind to myself and understand and accept my difficulties. Thank you to Patanjali for his wisdom, to Mataji for her interpretation of his wisdom and to Mokshapriya for her skillful instruction and passing the wisdom to us. I believe that the study of the sutras was definitely key to my success in the training. I know I will return to them again and again because “it’s all in there”! I found the format of “Our Mind” to be very good with the sutras identified in the margin and lots of space for note taking.

I enjoyed all the sessions with Miguel and his quiet energy. His dedication to yoga and to the teacher training along with his professional credentials brings an added and valuable dimension to the program. His book, “The Physiological Bases of Raj Yoga” contains a wealth of knowledge. I will continue to learn from it and consult with it.
Thank you both for your wisdom, caring, and support. Thank you for being so human and for your honesty –from sharing of your personal lives with us to being firm with us when needed to make us the best teachers we can be. Mary 2007
