200 Hour

Director of Asana Training (200 hour) - Jodie Kallas E-RYT-500

jodieMy yoga journey began in 1991 in a small gym in NYC. My formal teacher training began in 2003 with a life changing 200 hour teachers training with Suzanne Cardinale. After several years of teaching, I found my beloved teacher Mokshapriya Shakti teaching a sweaty Hatha yoga class. Under the strict eye of Marianne Mitsinikos and Mokshapriya, I earned my 500 hours at the Yoga Teachers Training Institute. Combined Mokshapriya and Marianne have well over 60 years of teaching experience and I am deeply honored and grateful to call them my teachers.
Other teachers I have studied with and taken trainings with are: Adam Dobbs, Scott Blossom, Anna Forrest, Aadil Palkhivala, David Swenson, Sadi Nardini, Leslie Kaminoff, Judith Hanson Lasater, Lilias Folan, CindyLee, Dana Flynn, Sharon Gannon and David Life.

I have a Level 2 Certification for Thai Yoga Bodywork through Jonas Westring and am a level 2 reiki practitioner through Maria Kramer who also certified me in Level 1 IET (Integrated Energy Therapy). I have studied aromatherapy with David Crow and continue to study the powers of essential oils and alternative healing modalities while diving deeper into the world of natural eco-conscouis living.
My classes include a sense of humor and light heartedness. Yoga can be both fun and work, peaceful and energizing and my greatest joy is to know that people leave class feeling better than they did when they arrived.

Director of Childrens Yoga - Theresa Venezia E-RYT RCYT

Theresa is an ordained minister and an experienced registered yoga teacher, specializing in Bhakti and children’s yoga. He encouraged her to take a teacher training, and her search led her to YTTI.

In addition to the unparalleled education that she received from the YTTI founders, Theresa has studied with some more of the best spiritual, yoga, and ayurveda teachers out there today, both privately and in a classroom setting. She teaches yoga, meditation, and healing arts classes and workshops regularly and has been teaching self-empowerment, spirituality, and meditation to children and teens for the past decade.  Theresa believes that everything you do in life should cause a smile. She learned from her greatest teacher that there is a game hidden in every task, that your inner child always needs to move and play, and that laughter truly is the best medicine.
